I only know San Jose, sorry. But if you are heading down the bay for anything, D&J hobby is good. Of course I moved away a couple of years ago, but they were pretty much the only shop worth visiting in SJ when I was there.

If you\'re actually going to be in San Francisco, miniature shops are pretty limited; you can try Gamescape on Divisadero. If you go south on the Penninsula, you\'ll find Gator Games in Hillsdale, and they are one of the better ones in the area. D&J Hobbies is closer to San Jose, and was pretty disorganized last time I was in there. If you go across the Bay, in Berkeley there is Games of Berkeley and they have some limited stuff too. Hope you find what you\'re looking for!

Frisco has Gamescape and a GW store. Gator Games as previously mentioned is a good shop. It\'s about 25 minutes south. IMO Endgame in oakland is by far the best in the area. It\'s about 10-15 minutes east of Frisco

There is also Scenario Game Shop in Fremont (south of Oakland, across the bay from San Francisco). I know they have a mini-painter club that meets regularly and the store has a decent supply of minis and paints, including Vallejos. :) I don\'t think they have a website, but I would highly recommend the store if you are in that area.
