I would like for start a set of figures depicting the Major Arcana Tarot

---------------------------------------

Characters from native american tales, like thunderbird and trickster coyote:D

I like the idea of trickster coyote, maybe to go with the Africa trickster god (name escapes me), Loki, Ah what the heck lets get all the \"evil\" gods in on this one.

Major Arcana. Boy, I\'d think that some of those would be diffluct to get just right, with all the things \"floating\" in the air around the centeral figure....

@mrrockandroll Only two years? Pah lightweight :D:D Try 7+ on EverCrack, then come and talk to me :D and after all that the highest that any of my charaters got was 40 :( Well I\'m working on some of those characters as we speak. Thank goodness for 72mm Sophies.

Good Gods. I just relised that I haven\'t had a life in the last 10 years......:(

I played Guildwars before hand for a while before moving to Wow, but 2 years is to long in anycase.

not very many...no Asgard, replicators, Ori...oh and no SGC members.....

Replicators? Good God - they would be the most boring minis ever :p lol

As for me, I\'m still working on my scultping (In between everything else lol) but if I could choose some things to BE sculpted ...?

Probably:

The characters from the Preacher graphic novels

The characters from F.E.A.R.

Papa Lazarou from League of Gentlemen - seriously - that guy is FREAKY

and that\'s all I can think of right now :p

Figures from the Sandman graphic novels would be cool too. Don\'t tell me you wouldn\'t want to own Dream and all his crazy family? :p

For me it\'d be more realistic fantasy stuff at a 54mm scale.

Actually, It\'s almost like I already have someone sculpting for me because I don\'t have any particular ideas and I fall head over heals for just about every new mini that comes out of Andrea\'s 54mm warlord line. :)

Not as they advanced stages into human or other forms.

Without replicators you would not have the need for the replicator killing hand guns....

Call me an egomaniac but the first thing I\'d have made is a mini of ME. Fantasy me, sci-fi me, whatever me... :drunk:

Second thing would be a nice range of historical looking gladiators. I\'ve never found gladiator minis that I really like (haven\'t really found that many period). I would especially like them to match the categories as portrayed in the old Avalon Hill game Gladiator so I could use them with it instead of cardboard cutouts. I\'d also have equipment made for use in the same game.

This is true, but replicators as humans could be ANY figures really.

I\'m just saying, figure-wise they aren\'t very exciting. :p

A complete set of chareters from the Glen Cook Garret the Detective series. I spend hours while I watch movies casting the books. Who would be the Dead Man? What does the Goddamn Parrot really look like? Who would play Rosie? I love those books!

i had a rethink. 1: The bulky vampire from 30 Days Of Night (graphic novel not film)
2: Pyramid Head from Silent Hill
3: One of the bad guys from Pathfinder http://www.worstpreviews.com/images/pathfinder.gif :D

mmm I like the idea of Sandman minis, really just about any vertigo stuff would be cool as a mini tho I\'d prefer Books of Magic the most.

Minis from The Neverending Story, Atrau on Falcor, racing snail and rider, rockbiter, but mostly a very nice mini of the Childlike Empress (had a big crush on her when I was a chittlin).

A good jolly Friartuck mini, every friar I find is either beefcake, hideous, weilding weapons or other such non Friartuck type things.

A not so miniature mini perhaps 1:6 or so of Pan greek god looked like a satyr, sitting by a stream playing a syrinx. I\'ve always loved the story of Pan and the nymph who turned into reeds to escape his love do to his beastly appearence, in turn unable to find her he took some reeds and fashioned his pipes so he could play a song expressing his feeling about the nymph and losing her. Every Satyr I\'ve found as a mini and really any art of them almost exclusivly depicts them as either monserous / demonic hedonistic rapists. A representation I see as horribly skewed by the Christian church (most artwork I am referring to is renaissance and romantic works). I would just love to see Pan as this story shows him as thoughtful, creative, but mostly as the lonesome romantic imprissoned in solitude due to misunderstanding and appearences.

Other then that if I had oodles of dough I would pay Tom Meier to sculpt lots more of his faeries they are the best I\'ve ever seen and rerelease all the old ones.

Necron scarabs could work just as well, but for a completionist....

UNLESS! you could get them in a method that allows you to build them up from chips and make them as complex a you want fromt he mini replicator components.

I could spend the rest of my life building on replicator chip by chip and painting the details. lol

well how about the Unas then? would implating symbiotes look too much like Alien chest burrsters? lol

I would really like to see a line of hip hop miniatures (i severely doubt it would ever happen due to the ideologies of the genre) but it would be cool to have particular artists in miniature form.

Others would be computer game characters for me, solid snake and fox hound etc, the final fantasy bunch things like that as for me it would be extra fun to paint as the models would be a mix of two things i enjoy music/mini painting or computer games/mini painting.

Also a proper line of comic book/graphic novel characters would be cool too.

Grenadier had a boxed set with a nice Satyr, as well as some other nice Mythological critters. Here\'s the Stuff of Legends link:

He is on the bottom right.

Definitely some game related minis. Zelda, random fighting games.

You can get these in resin form but they\'re stupid expensive. :(

Try Foundry/Wargames Foundry Street Violence line or if you can find the Thugz line I think it would be just what you want - can\'t remember off the top of me noggin who made them though.

It would not be that hard to sculpt a bunch of recognizable \"characters\" who were technically not 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, Tupac etc. Most rappers cultivate their own style which would stand out even in 28mm scale. But I doubt there would be a huge market for them. Then again, I\'m a whiteboy who likes Sarah McLachlan, what do I know? ;)

(The Wu Tang Clan as street samurai would be pretty cool. Throw in Forrest Whitaker from \"Ghost Dog\" and it\'d be a great set...)
