Minor League Painting Contest

In my area I know I am the best. I am not bragging, but compared to the people on here, I ain\'t nothing. I am sure there are many who are the same.

We are the painters who rate maninly in the high 5\'s low 6\'s. I would like to see a painting contest for us. A minor league constest if you will.

Any one else like this idea or are you content with ridding the benches with the big boys (or girls).

That would be great but how would you work out who could enter. Im a 6 -7 painter myself but I like to do conversions and so have some mid to high 7 minis.

The only way to do this correctly is to ensure that the entrant\'s ranking was below a specific level.
The ranking would have to be detailed in the entry.

Sounds like a good idea.

However, it might be tricky to control who is a 5 or 6 painter. The ranking idea is pretty good, but even that is open to abuse.

But, I am sure I\'ll fall squarely in the range no matter how it works. (unless you put in a \"you must be better than x\", then I could struggle)

Why don\'t use the mean rate of the painter\'s 5 best minis, like what can be found here : http://www.coolminiornot.com/topartists/page/59 ?

For painters that have no rank, they could at least post one mini to see what range they\'re in?
