I went to go and buy the xenos specimen tanks from forge world and aside from noticing the nice new layout, I cant find the specimen tanks. Does anyone know what is up? I have emailed them twice about the specimen tanks and have not received an answer. If they aren't making them anymore anyone know of another company that makes specimen tanks?

Ah, cheers, you caged freak you. :highfive: I see the notice the site url changed now I backtrack from my old Barrule bookmark. It took me past that notification page. Better looking new site for sure.

They've removed products all along. Sometimes they'll end up back in the catalogue around Xmas, sometimes they're gone for good. I'm guessing the specimen tanks either didn't sell or were creating casting problems.

As for email, I don't remember them ever responding to one of mine which wasn't directly related to a purchase I'd already made there. Unfortunately it's all too common to have miniature and casting companies not respond to an email.

Contact someone higher up in the company? Maybe you'll get lucky. Or see if the tanks are on eBay or Miniature Market.

in the back ground are the specimen tanks, well ok part of them... but sadly cant find them to order them... but they do say in the 2010 catalogue some items are no longer listed or shown but that its best to contact them as they might still have them available.. not sure what to suggest as you say you have emailed them and gotten no response... maybe telephoning them direct...
http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Contact.html has all the contact details and phones numbers.. it does also state on that page that they are unable to answer emails...

best of luck...

There's a new item by RAFM (there's pics on the frontpage) could serve the purpose the FW Specimin Tanks were to fill.
