Hoping for feedback on this one - I consider him finished except for his backpack... which I may leave off and sculpt more fur in its place. General feedback? Input on the backpack vs. fur question?

My second Seraphim conversion - shading is too dark otherwise I\'m pleased:

SoB Imagifier - finished? - with the bashed metal and copper gunk techniques in real metalics. The long purple banner has \"Ave Imperator\" wrap the entire length:

And, after a long break, my EC dread conversion. I finally realized it was the base, not the mini, I was unhappy with. So I added some matte finish to the skin (YAY!) and another round of highlighting. I\'ll pull it off the base and sculpt a new one... eventually.

Hiya, I am liking your painting style a lot!

In regards to the preacher, I feel the fur and backpack could both do with lightening (especially some highlights on the backback) as they kind of look rushed at the minute. Personally I would also like to see the coals in the banner pole painted as if they were alight. The eyes look a bit large and not in the eyelids, but from looking at how neat the freehand with the writing is I believe this may just be a bad camera angle. Light blue eyes also appear more piercing on models so this may be why.

I love the EC dread and the battle damaged purple is great! The conversions cool too. Personally I feel that the gap between the shoulder and power claw arm is too big, and maybe could have benefitted from a few guitar strings for power cables or some sculpted flesh like on the torso.

Hope this has been helpful, as intended, these are only my thoughts though. Great jobs again:D

OrkyDave - thanks for the feedback.

The preacher doesn\'t actually have the backpack attached in the photo. I left it off while I decide whether to add the pack or sculpt more fur -- at which point I\'ll finish the fur.

On the dread I totally agree. I actually put the arm on out of sequence - I had some left-over greenstuff so I put it in the socket... before I had sculpted any of the accordian cover or cables for the \"arm pit\" section. Oops. I\'m hoping to finish this one off over the next few weeks though so watch for updates.

Thanks again.

You have alot of great detail on them, and you show good attention to it.

The bases are all good and have something interesting on each one. I really like the \'mood\' in the third one. Cool color scheme.

I am a bad, bad painter. I dropped everything I was painting and had to pick up one of the new jump-pack chaplains... now I can\'t put him down.

Very pleased with the red, gold and bone techniques I used on this guy. Lots of fun.

I have also done a little work on the Seraphim conversion and I will get it online when I accomplish a bit more. I think I am closing in on finishing touches.

Feedback always welcome, of course.

Did some updating on the chaplain today. Instead of filling the whole page with GIANT photos I thought I\'d link it this time.
