mixing paints

when people say\"i mix up some of x becuase i always use it\" how do they actually mix it in an rempty pot?

if you use a brush itlll just dry but if you pour it how do u no if the ratio is right?

or if there some other method i havent thought of?

When I\'ve mixed paints, I tend to stick with full pot mixeds - e.g. 1 pot of shadow grey + 1 pot of space wolf grey. I pour both into a plastic tub adding some water and mix, then I wash out the old pots, pour the paint back in and bosh job done.

The plastic tubs I use are from induvidual christmas pudding\'s so its an ideal excuse to eat lots of them

if you dont want to use full pots the other way is use a syringe to measure out your paint
