yeah, I dont know much about the game itself, I was only the guy that did the sculpts for their minis. I hope the game itself is actually fun obviously...I surely hate putting so much time into something that goes no where. Along with the fact the creator has put a lot of time and money into it.

You are getting some nice looking sculpts. Are you happy with the printing quality?

print quality is really good, Im not a fan of initial prints because it shows the layers, especially shapeways. I mean its very subtle but painting on it, its not the most desired, I would imagine. Its not a SMOOTH surface. Now once a mold is made and copies are produced, they are great.

Problem I have with that is, I have to change all the sculpts and over thicken a lot of surfaces and even move accessories and body parts. So when the mold is created, it doesnt break, allowing the mold to pull from the figure properly.

You can see in the latest 5 pics, like the archers bow...forget about it! If I dont thicken that up x3-4, it will warp or just snap after printing.

There are a lot of good and bad sides but I guess the fact we can do it at all, I should just shut up and make the alterations. Thats why I keep pics of the original sculpt first, its MUCH more appealing on a 2,3 or 4k monitor. If I showed the sculpt when it was actually print ready it just wouldnt look that appealing. I mean, we see it at 7-18" tall on our monitor and when its printed, maybe 1-3".

Thanks by the way :)

printer image on the first page looks like the Form 1 or Form 1+....the Form 2 is out now and is apparently even better with less texture left on the printed shape.

Wonder how that would look.

I want to do a couple heads for a model and then get them printed, but not sure who could do that and the cost. may not be worth it, but 1 of them I will need some copies, and whenever I try to make a mould, it screws up :p ehhe

Regards,

Sanjay
