Modern Zombicide Season 4 Ideas

Hello all!


Even though it is not going to happen soon, let's share your ideas on the next season for modern zombicide!


THEME:
To me it is clear that what it is lacking now is military theme. We have city, prison, mall and hospital already, so the next one with the most potential is military.
The survivors, in hopes to find a safe place, followed to the military facility near the city.


TILES
Trainning areas, armory, office, lab, cages, dormitory, canteen, bunkers


ZOMBIES
Metal-Bomb! The experiments on the lab created an abobination that is merged with metal, so it cannot be destroyed, only stopped with traps.


AbobinaBrute! The strongest soldiers turned out into an abobination with a huge health pool. 43 hit points to kill it (or the molotov). My play group play using a survivor card for the abobination, the tracker starts at 43 and each damage we reduce 1 point, two damage weapons reduce two points and so on. This added more options and give us a choice other than search until we find the molotov materials


Soldiers turned into regular walkers


Heavy soldiers turned into fatties




WEAPONS
Bazooka: 1 action to load and 1 to shoot. Doesn't have a free reload after the turn ends. You cannot load it if you aren't going to use it. To simplify, two actions to shoot. 2 damages for every zombie on the area. You need the bazooka weapon and the ammo equipment card to be able to use it. After you shoot, discard the ammo card, so you need to find another on to use it again. 5 noise token where it exploded


Remote-bomb: Weapon and equipment cards and token required. With the remote bomb equiped, plant it on a area without zombies (one action). Put the token on that area and discard the weapon card. With the detonator equipment card on your hand, detonate it from anywhere on the map. 2 damage for every zombie on that area and 5 noise token where it exploded


Sentry Gun: Weapon and equipment cards and token/miniature required. With the sentry Gun parts equipment cards (two cards, one for the base and another one for the gun), expend 3 actions to assembly the sentry gun and put the token/miniature on the area. One action to "enter" the sentry gun. It must be pointed at a fixed position, so before mounting the sentry gun, you must specify to where it is pointing. After the assembly, discard the equipment cards. Give the sentry gun weapon to the survivor using it. 6 dice, 3+, 1 damage. It cannot be disasembled/destroyed


NEW FEATURES
Dig Holes. Equipament card and token required. Find a shovel, expend 3 actions to dig a small hole on the ground and put the token onthat area. It don't cover the whole area, so for every zombie that steps into the digged hole, roll a die, 4+ it falls into the hole. For the zombies in the holes, apply the same rules as the holes in AN expansion

I am working on something VERY meta: a zombie convention. Essentially I want to merge both Black Plague, and classic zombicide into a bunch of LARPers. I'm currently using slicers, berzerkers, standards, VIP, seekers, and no abominations yet. Likewise, weapons are going to get a custom reskin to boffer weapons and nerf guns..

New Stuff...

We came up with this card a while back - would be a great addition to the latest rules. Card designs and simple rules attached. Easy to make them up instead of some pesky pans!
