Question to anyone that has the hobbyzone large paint stand for 36mm bottles HZ-s2b (not the OMO series paint module).
I have a 60cm shelving unit that holds most of my supplies. Unfortunately, since the Hobbyzone module is 60cm wide, it won’t fit on my shelf, as the useable width allowing for the side panels of the shelf unit is exactly 56.9cm. Is there enough width on each shelf to cut them down to fit, or are the paint holes too close to the edges to allow sufficient material to be removed? I’d want to reduce both sides by 16mm. I couldn’t find any more detailed reviews with full measurement annotations.
The smaller module system parts would fit, but don’t store enough bottles. The other option is acrylic nail varnish racks, but I much prefer the look of the hobbyzone stuff (pre butchering anyway). My workspace has to be cleared away to keep happy wife, so permanent desk setup not an option.
