I don't understand the question zab. Do you mean what colors they are?

Primed and base-coated the bases and mounted the minis to them. Once everything is dried completely I will start with the metalics, details, and pigments. Thought I had taken a good pic of Mei Feng but I didn't. You can see her kinda in the railworker pic

Wow nice skin tones! I was just wondering how you were using all those browns? Were they for wet blending the skin, wood or clothing? They looked pretty neutral overall so I was interested to see what you were using them on.

Don't quote me Zab, but I think that was when I painted the wheelbarrow and her kung-fu wood smash. They were all reaper colors if you want a list.

No need for a list I was just curious because it looked like the could have been for skin too. I always struggle with neutrals and cool versus warm tones. You, Bailey and Milosh seem to have them down pat though

Yes, it has nothing to do with me or my paint ups First you put me in the same category as Bailey and Milosh then you break my heart /sniffle.

In all serious though, I've got most of the plastic kits wyrd makes, and for the most part they are really nice. However, some of them have some design flaws, and some have parts that are really really small. Some are easy to put together and some you just want to pull your hair out.

I'd also like to add that some of the new artwork/character designs are kind of....meh, to me at least. for example most of the new Mcmourning characters don't look that great to me, but the nurse models are an improvement over the metals in design and artistic value. Thats just my opinion though. I have thought about writing my own review on them at one point.

All of them so far have been a joy to paint though.

Your work rocks Moe. And I picked up several boxes of Malifaux at Winter War (odds of getting painted are pretty slim-although the trapper or whatever he is called may get pushed up to the top of the procrastination list).
@Zab: those hired swords have been added to the "more crap I don't need" list with the sharpshooters. Didn't they have a box of mounted horseman? I couldn't find it in my casual search.

KB, you might be thinking of the relic hunters box set. Its in my "to do" list. The hired swords box set is nice. I like everything in it but the new viks.

Lost some progress pics but I got some work done on the Rail crew. They should be done by next weekend I think. You can see some of the pigment colors I used in the first pic.



Next I will rust up some of the gears and finish the detail work on the mini's themselves.

Not much to report really. Added some rust colors to the gears/pipes/metal bits. I'll have to go back and clean some of it up when I start on the detail stuff, but no worries.
