Mold Line removal?

Any recommendations on the best way to clear up mold lines on these bad boys? Exacto and diamond file?

I've never had luck with files on softer plastics. I scrape with an exacto and am getting decent results on these figs.

I have not started on these specific minis, but I have cleaned up the SDE minis. I used an Exacto knife with a new blade and a carbide scraper and got decent results.

I've found my usual method of using a knife has had pretty bad results. So I'm using a super fine diamond file and going VERY slowly.

My suggestion is to angle the exacto blade so the sharp side is pointed away from you and the top dull end is torwards you a bit. then pull the blade towards you. for small mould lines this will be enough to scrape it off and you wont cut into the mini

Are the lines very noticeable? I've heard they are a pain to remove because of the type of plastic so many people are just leaving them.

I mostly used a scraper. Occasionally switching to a knife for harder to reach places.

The scraper worked well on these plastics. It's pretty much what they exist for eh. Takes the mold lines away cleanly, doesn't gouge into the plastic as a dodgy angle with a knife could do, and doesn't result in lots of waste tendrils that stubbornly refuse to leave the mini the way a file could suffer.

Mold lines are noticeable on one of the Runners. You can find more on the bald heads, legs, etc, if you look up close.

If you're a speed painter, eh, save cutting the mold lines for the Survivors and Abomination!

I've left them untouched on the minis I've painted so far. I just do some "creative" painting to make them less noticeable.
