On Friday I posted a thread called Friday about it being...well.. Friday.
Me happy then.
Well today is not Friday, today is Monday.

Me not happy now.
Me want to go home
Me having bad, bad, day. (again)

Me don't like Mondays (there's a song in there somewhere!)

All sodding day I think about getting home and painting my next mini and when I do finally get home
im to fu*king tired to paint.:freaked-out::freaked-out::freaked-out:
Working from 7am to 7pm is bad for the body and sole.

Well that's my excuse for not getting 9 / 10, huh!

I'm quite fond of Mondays myself, Sundays however is the least exciting, least productive and least social day of them all.
Mondays represent a new start, a new week and new things to experience.

Oh, yeah and when it comes to work, I work random hours on random days and random amounts of shifts in one day... last week I had my Monday off but worked from 18:00 to 06:00 on Tuesday and Wednesday, from 16:00 to 00:00 on Thursday, from 06:00 to 12:30 and from 16:00 to 22:00 on Friday. And for some sodding reason I woke up early and was completely awake at 07:00 on Saturday...

"You could look for a change in careers."

yes, not a bad idea at all. problem is the old out of the frying pan into the fire

The day started off reasonable until I left the house for work. Popped my coat on... it turned out to be warmer than I thought so after my 25 minute walk to work I ended up being a lot hotter than I wanted to be when I arrived (read hotter as also sweating). Then I get collared for moving desks and wiring in a new Cat5 cable before I've had my first coffee. It's taken me a couple of hours to fix a problem due to a change made by our hosting company last week (no HSBC payments for over 5 days - yay) and I've got a job on that is completely mentally draining and needs to be finished by the end of Wednesday - which I keep having to take breaks every half hour to let my mind relax.

However on a plus point, I've got all of this evening and tomorrow evening to myself so more work on my Rune Priest, plus my amazing girlfriend is over on Friday to stay at my house for the weekend and we're out for a meal with friends on the Saturday - win!

Chin up, it could be worse

pete.

I actually like Mondays.

But I've compressed my working hours so that I only work, Tuesday-Friday.
So I normally have Mondays routine down pat.
06:00 Fran goes off to work,
06:10 I stick first load of washing in,
06:15 Triple S's,
07:00 Start ironing,
08:45-09:00 Finish ironing
After that the day is down to Sketching, Watercolours, mooch around town and a Coffee.
Back home and Model Painting or catch up on an outstanding DVD.

However, today has been spent being the shoulder on which a young friend has been crying on, due to being dumped out of the blue.
Being dumped via text message is bad enough (and I consider cowardly) but when you are being told that is because his mother hates you, when she's never met you HAS to hurt.

if you want to brighten up your day, get on the sun bed, grate cheddar all over yourself, sprinkle with worcester sauce to taste then let the sun bed do its worse. you have just become the finest erotic snack known to man, congratulations. Try to avoid self consumption it gets funny looks from your significant other.
