Monkey King's Secondary Natural Ability question

Hey Everyone,

Question just came up The second ability on the monkey king, "Each (White Crit Image) on his defense roll scores an additional save. If he rolls any (white Cirt image) may place his figure in a close space."

1. Because the second part of the ability does not state defense roll, does that mean attack crits also allow the place in close space?

2. Also does he get an additional close movement for each crit? or if he rolls alteast 1 crit only gets one movement per defense roll?

1. I believe that the second sentence is in reference to the first. The dice images are very specific as to which type of roll you are making.

2. The word "any" means it can only be triggered once per roll. If this was not the case Pluck and Bob would throw characters all over the board and The Nameless would be able to move your entire guild when he attacked.
