Does anyone out there know of a sortable index of all the monsters for D&D 3.5. I would really like to have something where i could sort by CR.

Isn\'t it in the back of the book? They did it with 3.0, didn\'t they?
Did they remove that incredibly handy feature? I haven\'t got 3.5 yet.

Yes, they do have monsters by CR ratings in the back of the manuals, but I think what Mr. Farstrider is seeking is a comprehensive index, covering all of the books.

I know that I find it to be a pain to go through all of the MMs and such. I also wish they had a comprehensive breakdown by Type (undead, abberations, etc.)

I sadly do not have an answer for you on this, I wish you luck. (and if you find something before I do, PM me with it! )

If I had more time, I\'d whip up a database to do this kind of stuff...perhaps someday.

Found a List!

Try this website http://www.sulerin.com/index.asp
They have a list of monsters. I don\'t know if it is all inclusive (I\'m a player, not a DM) but you can pull up mosters by CR.

Mr Doom is right. I am looking for a comprehensive sortable list. Like what Wizards has for spells and feats on their website. I would love to be able to search by name, type CR, location... I guess I might have to continue with my data base that I started.

Intersting site HatGirl. It could work. The only problem that I see, for me, is that it has a whole bunch of monsters from books other than 3.0/3.5. Which is what I use.

Well, I didn\'t look at it that carefully really, but it does look like they are all D20 products. You just have to ignore the monsters from books you don\'t have.

For all DM\'s that are interested, I have a spreadsheet (excel) that has the MM and enworlds converted creatures sorted by climate, terrain, and CR. pop me an email (see my profile) and I\'ll reply with the spreadsheet attached.

A couple of you already have them. This is not a commercial product, this is not licenced d20. I pulled the monsters from the SRD but plan on going back through it with the MM2 and the Fiend Folio when I get time.
