Montana Gold spray paints

wayland are stocking a new range of colour primers:

I've heard inconsistent things with regards army painter, but am looking for a red primer to speed up a blood ravens commission.

Has anyone used the montana gold range yet?

Alternatively does anyone have any other recommendations of colour primers.

I've been recommending Montana Gold for a year or more.

Twosoc bought a few and has tested them.
They dry matt and are pretty good.
Montana offer several types of nozzle as these are intended as Graffiti Art paints.

Hycote do a car primer in red. I've used the grey and it's very good.

DR - is the range you've been suggesting the same as the one wayland are now stocking? Do you use them personally - and which of the reds have you tried if so? Many thanks.

REV; Yep exactly the same.
Ordered from Jacksons Art http://www.jacksonart.co.uk
Prices are a little cheaper (5p) and their sales response is PDG.
Their colour swatches on the websites are closer to the real colour and the one I've seen used is Shock Red.

Thanks D.reach - Sounds like it might be worth taking a punt of a can or two then -

any idea which GW colour Shock red might equate too? The jackons swatch looks perhaps red gore...? I might want something a little darker as a basecoat... hmmm
