My only comment would be to not use black to darken your colors. Unless you wanted a duller look. I tend to use dark blue and dark brown also real deep red.

I like the fig quite a bit. The base is interesting. I love the paint on it. But I can\'t quite \'see\' it as anything other than a paint pot lid. Voted and commented.

Gave them an 8 a-piece quite happily. A nice unified paint job

Very nice! I agree with Shawn that some other color rather than black could have made the colors appear deeper and richer, but there is a nice grittiness about the paint job as it stands.
