More ads on CMON now?

Just today I\'ve been getting a full-page ad popup everytime I click a link to view a mini. It is unendurable!

Is this a new policy or just my comp screwing up / adware / etc?

i dont have probs with it myself. but i dont like having the girls gone wild ad pop up on the side when i am trying to show my students a mini ... other than that its fine. i\'d review your pop up blocker. best o\'luck

I agree. I\'d pay double to support the site just to never have those types of ads for everyone. Yes, I\'ve heard the whole \'this site is not intended for children\' rant, but I\'d at least like to send people I know to my gallery without them seeing that sort of ad. I never get popup ads though... hmm.

I don\'t really understand the economics of in-page ads. Do they really make money? Per view? Per click? Is anyone here really clicking on \"girls gone wild\"?

I\'ve thought long and hard about this (no pun intended). ;)

Hence, all of these \'cool\' companies think that advertising \'nudey\' videos and dating sites to a bunch of nerds will be lucrative.

Its only a matter of time before they realize that Vikey is the only one buying those videos. :D

As for me, I\'m waiting for Ren-Faire Girls Gone Wild to come out.

oooh oooh i can\'t wait to see one about transformers gone wild. This is the one where we find out just what exactly is up between silverbolt and black arachnia. and if you got my joke, then you sadly can add another point to the geekscale.

hmmm well i guess you can be let in on it. although remember it doesnt matter since according to geek standards we all hit high on the mark since we spend our time bent over a tiny piece of metal or plastic for hours on end, and only to be finished later and realize we have another 150 to go since you decided to do a horde army... great idea you tell yourself.... ppl will gauk in awe.... that is when you finish it sometime in the 22nd century..... oops sorry that was my inner monologue.

anyhoo black arachnia and silver bolt were on beast wars and fell in love with each other. at one point silverbolt actually turned to the decepticons.. *whoot* and then back again only to have one of those rocky robotic on again off again relationships... it then went on to beast machines where we find out that silver bolt is actually remade as a jet and then falls back in love with black arachnia but see finally that things will never be the same. it is at this point in the series when many \"geeks\" began referring to silverbolt as silverdolt\" which was sad because beast machines was quite possibly the best written series in transformers since the marvel comic days.

My only question is... the two-sexes model of reproduction in Earth organisms is ultimately dictated by the double-helix structure of our hereditary molecule, DNA. Why the heck would robots have two sexes/genders? They could reproduce by making a bit-for-bit copy of their own mental software and running it through a program that introduced minor changes if they wanted their \"child\" to be slightly different. Or they could exchange modules or traits with multiple others, not merely one partner. And a body would simply be manufactured.
