I want it all now!!!!!!

Thanks for posting Orb, I had heard about the narnia and asterix stuff being done... hadn\'t seen pics... also hadn\'t seen pics of the orc sculpt....

I know what I\'m asking from Santa this year... I\'ve been ever such a good girl - honest :innocent:

Wow...that is fantastic.

I really like the Narnia stuff too.

I wasn\'t sure about the Elf when it was brought out, but now with this excellent Orc, I can see how that would make a great companion piece.

Thanks for sharing Orb!

@Orb - where did you click to get the big pic of the painted mini? I saw the thumbnail of the paintd fig yesterday but when I click it takes me to the poster advertising the other stuff... could you post a link please? :)

------

Duh... they seem to have changed the information - it said the other day it was painted by someone else... Not David... got it now. I thought it looked like David\'s work.

luca masetti: the sculptor did it because he wanted to increase the sensation of a primal animal..like a gorilla

Have to agree with Luca the legs do look short and the body looks a bit long because of it although this could be the angle of the photo???

I still want one though :D

Sam, the link was buried in the text next to the thumbnail:
The image link

and reading through the comments it looks like a Dwarf is next on the cards......

it\'s interesting to see opinions about something like this; everyone has their view on Orcs etc.
I like it, and Joaquin has done a great job - very Gorilla like.

And I believe it\'s about 80 - 90mm tall as well!!

Great mini, but the legs are really too short for my taste.
I agree. I know it was deliberate and naked the figure looks just about okay but \'clothed\' it just look wrong to me.

Bloody marvelously sculpted otherwise.

Rob any idea when they are going to release this one I know the Elf has only just gone up on the site does that mean we will have to wait just as long?

I think it will be available before the next GD though :D

December I reckon (especially as the jpg file is called \"orcandreadecembre\"!).

The comment about the short legs is valid I suppose, but on the whole I like this sculpt

@Orb - 80 to 90mm, blimey that\'s pretty huge for a 54mm scale model

I still haven\'t got round to getting one of Andrea\'s elves yet, so I think this may have to wait

@Orb - thanks for posting the link to Joaquin Palacios\' work. I am a huge fan of his stuff - it\'s not fair that he\'s a bloody fantastic painter too! Hopefully one day I\'ll get good enough to do justice to some of his Historical stuff. :)
