what to say about a masterpiece like this one... the choice of colors is very good, the blending is great (especially the snout) and the base suits this model really well

hooray for Astonia :bouncy:

Awesome work Anja, one of my favorites you\'ve done to date, if not the top. (which is saying something since I started your fan-club and all ;))

Can\'t wait to see your work in print

you seem to be getting better with every new miniature you paint. You were allready a very good painter, but your progress over the last few months is just amazing. Keep it up !

Awesome! A question though, why didn\'t you add some patterns to the blade? (as this seems to be the convention with most rackham minis).

He\'s just sooooo cute. Makes me want to grab him by the scruff of his neck and bury my face in his..... oh, wait....er :D:D
I like the paint job, especially the dark muzzle, as it reminds me of my neighbor\'s Boxer.

Thanks everyone :)

I didn\'t add any freehand on the blade simply becasue i didn\'t think of it, and I also like the clean look of the blade as it is. But I might try it on the next one...

Very nice! Been and voted. Are those the Hudson & Allen leaves on the base? I gotta get some of those.

Yep, those are Hudson and Allen, and they\'re amazing! I bought forest litter, foliage and ivy and they\'re all fantastic stuff to work with.

I\'ve yet to figure out the ivy, myself.. I know I\"m going to carefuly paint his base, and then the glue will show up somehow and ruin it.. Oh, well.. Great jorb! :p

You must be kidding me???!!

There is a company who actually dares to charge morey for stuff I can pick up from my backyard in kilograms?
Seriously, those are simply birch seeds which you can very easily find yourself. Been using them for some time now and I also gave some a wash of different green shades all ready for use.

Great mini btw ;)

yeah I know they are just birch seeds, but not everyone has a backyard (or like me, I\'m just too lazy hehe). ;)

Beautiful work...

...my favourite part though is the muzzle.It\'s proper realistic, reminds me of Suzie the Boxer dog I had a fight with yesterday lol Looking forward to the next one! Cheers :D

just sweet...

I really like the skintone, and the blending is exquisite (as usual). Imho there\'s nothing not to like on this mini, \'nuff said.

...and I\'m double-crossed, as I\'m liable to have a veeeeeery long walk to find a birch in Trier, and H&A (or Testor\'s, for that matter) stuff is way hard to come by \'round here... Anybody post me some?

So is birch the tree that has the bark that peels off like paper? If so, my grandparents have one of those, but I didn\'t see any tiny leaves!lol I guess you just have to cut them? I have been wanting to get some of the H&A forest litter, but it hasn\'t been on ebay or at the CMON shop.

Oh by the way, great job Anja! I am about to vote and comment.:)
