voted and commented. I first thought they were much larger. The detailing is great.
Mud in the wheels, Zimmerit coating, just great.

it\'s part of the cast mate.

to be honest things like zimmerit aren\'t difficult, just time consuming.

just a case of getting a good milliput mix and having the right home made tools.

zimmerit is a form of artex mate, it was desighned to prevent magnetic mines to areas of the tank.

there are two types of foliage mate, the sections of cut off tree are see foam and fine leaves, the marsch branches are asparagus fern (very brittle so needs treating to firstly stop it rotting and secondly stop it from falling apart when some one just grazes it)

GPA, you need some more of that fern? Come on by and dig out all you want from my yard. Stuff is a weed here. And it has sharp thorny bits after it gets some size on it.

I\'ve dug it out, sprayed roundup all over it and it still comes back - meaner and greener.

Zimmerit was ainti magnetic mine past applied by the Germans to their tanks to keep the Russians from sticking magnetic mines to their tanks. It was sort of a concrete like mixture trawled onto the tank. The ridges also helped bread up surface adheason.

i\'m happy with people thinking they are 1/56 or bigger mate :)

tempted to do a couple of leman russ\'s for ebay later in the year, it\'s a bit slow at the moment tho.

yeah it\'s always slow this time of year,.. Final warnings for credit card bills and the like are in so people have to pay the goose fiirst before they can treat themselves.. always happens .. generally picks up end of March beginning April...

I second that I know these are teeny tiny but I\'d love to see em next to a regular GW mini or some such just so I can get a real idea of their scale.

Always love seeing your stuff mate.
Just one question, where did you borrow the electron microscope from in order to be able to see what you were painting...

i use an optivisor mate, i struggle to paint anything without it nowadays due to my eyesight going and the cost of glasses (can\'t afford to get my eyes tested at the moment.)

looking at ratings, people clearly do not appreciate the size of those. They are really pretty if the word could be applied to the tank:). Do you actually paint numbers or is it some decals? They feel painted but just thought I ask.

the numbers are decals.
i use micro sol so dissolve the decal and just leave the pigment and then weather them with the rest of the tank.
