<p><font size="2">Every time I write in this category I sincerely hope that it will be the last note, yet, alas our school just begging for more... </font></p> <p><font size="2">My 6th grader, while going through the characteristic features of things living needs to complete "Life Processes Project". The idea is to illustrate 9 process characteristic of living things. (On the side... we are not in kindergarten, you know, kids in 6th grade should be able to WRITE, not to DRAW).</font></p> <p><font size="2">So. I am reading through the list of 9 and all of them makes some sense until I got to a proces #6 (Emphasis is mine)</font></p> <p><font size="2">6. <strong>ALL </strong>living things are made up of <strong>MORE THAN ON</strong>E cell. </font></p> <p><font size="2">To those who doesn't know... 50% of this planet biomass is composed of single-cell organisms. I am sure that the person who wrote this, believes that he/she is actually teaching science. You know, this statemet is so incorrect that suggests to me lack of basic undestanding of a subject. Like you know, a person who start the geography class by stating that the Earth is flat.</font></p> <p><br /></p>
