I\'ve finished the mini I was using for Klute\'s skin painting class. I\'m quite pleased with the mini, though I\'m not really happy with the photos. Some of the subtle shadings in the skin seem to get lost in the pics... :(

Well, anyway, comments (and votes) are welcome! :)

Excelente work, Anders!
I just love the way you paint gold, and the eyes are great.
The shading of the skin is a little to subtle for my tastes, but there\'s no denying that it\'s really smooth.

Nice!! :) I\'ll leave a comment later

Did you use the same lighting on the photo as the one you paint under? From my experience subtle painting is very dependend on which lightcondition you paint vs photograph under.

She is great. I would offer two minor critiques (and these are more stylistic opinions then anything). First, I think the darklining around the waist in the second pic and the bottom on the third pic is a bit too thick. Secondly, what is she holding in her hands? If it is the entrails from poor soul, I would have made her hands and perhaps the base a bit bloodier. If they are whips, then just ignore me lol.

Thanks everyone!

@avelorn
No, I have more lighting when I take the pics. That is probably one cause of problems when I take the photos.

@jabberwocky
She\'s holding some sort of instruments in her hands. Not sure exactly what they are.

@spacemonkey
Yeah, I wouldn\'t date her! :D

Great work man! Skin tone is very good (nice...umm...rear she has huh?). I agree, the blacklining is a tad strong, and I think the stuff in her hands is about the weakest part of the mini, and it may have mostly to do with not having a clear idea of what they are for you than in the paint job.
