Ok so I finished my Chaplin from the WIP thread and he\'s ready for voting. Let me know what you guys think.

I\'m putting him into a comp tomorrow and will let you know how I got on.

This little guy got me my first...First place in my local shop painting comp Last Sat, got The colected visions from the horus hersey.

Congratulations! That is a fine looking miniature. Neatly painted! The black could have done with some brighter highlights in places to better define the shapes of the armour, but black is really difficult to do. It\'s very easy to get the highlights too big so that it stops looking like black.

a couple of points, i would suggest increasing your contrast, more shading on the metals and bone and more highlighting, as ritual said, on teh black. also, you paint looks a little thick so try watering it down a bit. hope this helps

Thanks, The grey highlights on the armour are a bit brighter in real life the pic is quite dark, also freakinacage; which part looks a bit thick as usually my paint is thinned down?
