No one does it like Gomez and Fester!
They are a German band, as you already know, called Dschinghis Khan. I would date them to the beginning of the 1980s, but I\'m not entirely sure.

I, Mr Metal with the long hair and the newly found love of the guitar actually like them a lot. Yes, they were before my time, but I love their two it songs - \"Moskau\" and \"Dschingis Khan\" ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_jVyjfTLDNU ). The Band is actually called Dschinghis Khan with an additional h in Dsching(h)is. \"Moskau\" is basically about, well, Moscow and the Russian stereotype. It\'s about drinking vodka, eating caviar and basically having a good time (\"Moskau, Moskau/Werft die Gläser an die Wand/Russland ist ein schönes Land/Hohohohoho\" - \"Moscow, Moscow/throw your glasses at the wall/Russia is a beautiful country\", \"Liebe schmeckt wie Kaviar/Mädchen sind zum küssen da\" - \"Love tastes just like caviar/girls are here for us to kiss\", \"Vodka trinkt man pure und kalt/das macht hundert Jahre alt/Väterchen, dein Glas ist leer/doch im Keller ist noch mehr\" - \"You drink Vodka straight and cold/it makes you live a hundred years/Comrade (bad translation, but kinda applicable), your glass is empty/but there\'s still more in my cellar\" and that covers most of the lyrics

\"Dschingis Khan\" is about Ghengis Khan and has more or less the same basic premise as \"Moskau\" Ghengis Khan drinks excessively and sleeps with seven women in one night. I don\'t think translating the lyrics is necessary now, if you still want them, just tell me
By the way, eventhough two band members are already dead these guys are STILL touring.
Ebonbuddha, it\'s a pretty old song (as I said, I think about 1980) and not really popular here in Germany at the time. It\'s certainly not a contemporary piece of music Rammsteins\' \"Moskau\" is a completely different sond though and has no relation to this one.
