Just wanted to post some of my recent commission work on here and see if anyone could give me some comments/criticisms to help me improve. I'm pretty happy with the way these turned out. The only problem is in the lighting of the Confrontation Hydra pic, no matter how my wife took the pic, the underbelly came out yellow when it is actually a fleshy color. I look forward to hearing what you all think.

The photo issue with the hydra is simply a white balance one... depending on the camera you can either set the colour temp directly or try presets for flash, sunlight, cloud etc. In terms of the sculpt though, I don't like it at all and though it looks like you have done a nice job I wouldn't have a clue what could improve it.

The Giant looks nice and neat but I think could just use more contrast by pushing the shading darker and the highlights brighter. In addition, the bases on both could use a little more going on.

I guess I should have added that the guy I am painting for does his own bases since he has several painters working for him, he likes to keep them consistent. Thanks for the comment, Squiders.

I think the Giant needs more attention to the face. Although it could just be the darkish photo, there doesn't seem to be much of a focal point with him. More contrast in the face will pull your eyes into it.

I can't see the other one properly, just too dark for me and my monitor!
