movie review: the hills have eyes = bad ass

just saw it and i thought it was great; the best horror film ive seen in years. its not for the squeemish though, it has tons of disgustingly graphic gore. the characters are amazing, and the story draws the viewer in - there were several moments when the entire theater, ghasped, or jumped or cheered. the protagonist is epic - in the praxis of ash and similar heros.

have you seen it? what do y\'all think?

The original was indeed quite creepy. I understand the remake is supposed to be quite a bit gorier. And I doubt they came up with anyone as naturally disturbing to look at as Michael Berryman.

I saw it last weekend. I thought it was entertaining. It wasnt bad. Um, a few things bothered me about the movie. Theres a few cliche parts. I hate how in movies people waste bullets in such dire situations. That really annoyed me.

Plus there was a certain part (trying not to spoil it for anyone) where a person gets shot and they get picked up off the floor and fly back a few feet. Thats very unrealistic and kind of ruins the scene for me. Bullets dont pick people off the ground and carry them.

All and all, it wasnt bad. I was very entertained and into it. I enjoyed the movie, but i thought a few parts could be better or have more logical decisions being made by the characters.

By the way, whats up with the ending? I didnt see the original so maybe that one ended the same way. But dont they essentially end where they started?

I thought it was alright. I don\'t ever see scary/horror movies but I thought this might be fun. Me and my friends were about to leave about halfway through it was so gross. In the end though, when the nuclearfied people get killed by pickaxes and the dog, it was cool
