Was she in that ??? If so, my life no longer has any meaning and I\'m going to drink myself to death... or maybe just to sleep :drunk::drunk:

I have seen plenty of films with Meryl Streep and some of them really good. \"Deer Hunter\", for instance. :]

I really like Leonardo Decraprio, he\'s possibly my favourite actor in fact. I enjoyed The Beach, Gangs of New York, Basketball DIaries, The Quick and the Dead (lots of years since I saw this one, maybe it\'s not that good anymore). I think I\'ve seen a few more of his films too, he\'s good!

No, nO! I still regret watching Titanic. Not that I really had much choice in the matter...
Although watching the kid drown made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I actually cringed at the nude scene \"Let me draw you\" yeah! We all know what THAT really means!
If she actually looked at the pad properly she\'d see a war scene with stick men and jaggy explosions...

What the hell was that about? It was offensive, pointless, overblown and hurts me to think about.

I think that movie alone irks me on so many levels. I\'m usually pretty forgiving when it comes to movies, but that one gets no love from me.

Movies I won\'t watch:

Fatal Attraction. (Saw 20 minutes and wanted to shoot both of them myself.)
Red Dawn (Oh boy do I feel old here!)
Any slasher flick
Any Iron Eagle movie,
Any \"Scary Movie\" Pastiche
Any Cross Dressing Pastiche
Anything with \"National Lampoon\" in the title.
Anything with Jim Carey in it.

Ones we ( Fran & I ) wish we hadn\'t seen:

AI (How long was that? ? ? ?)
Unbreakable (What a wasted opportunity)
White noise.
The Ladykillers (Mr Hanks version)
Aurora
Titanic ( The Animated version. NO don\'t even try to look for it, save yourselves!)
War of the Worlds (Tom Cruise :|~ )
Mission Impossible 2
The Da Vinci Code (Very disappointing)
Daredevil (Mea Culpa, I bought that !)
The Omen (The original version, can\'t believe we sat through that!)
The Wicker Man. (Why oh Why did they make the original, never mind the remake! Complete waste of Celluliod!).

Some movies we didn\'t expect to enjoy:

Master & Commander
The Last Samurai
The Forgotten
The Gift
Missing (Tommy Lee Jones)
The Hunted

And I\'ll hold my hand up and say I enjoy good old fashioned romantic comedies;

One Fine Day,
Runaway Bride
Four Weddings and a Funeral
Notting Hill
Love Actually
Shall we Dance?
Must Love Dogs.

Mike, weren\'t half of those Romantic Comedies made by the same director/producer? And didn\'t they all star Hugh Grant?

Say what you will about the guy, but he does schmalz well.

Oh, and you can\'t seriously be knocking National Lampoon\'s Animal House can you?

I don\'t believe I will ever watch a movie starring Vin Diesel.

I really liked \"The last Samurai\" a lot!
I have to admit at the end I was near screaming: \"Put down your guns and fight you bas\'ards!\".
I tend to get overly exited sometimes

GreenOne

I paint my thumb.
I don\'t want to see Van Hellsing ever again, nor the people who brought me to a theatre for that piece of shitte... classics should be left untouched, not destroyed in a bundle in such a disrespectful manner...

The third star war too... how bad can dialogues and acting really get?

Hostel... what is that all about, making the most unstandable movie? Its more displeasant than a visit to the dentist...

And I could enjoy watching LOTR again, if I could cut off the parts where Jackson f*cked the story ( Like the elven army at helm\'s deep..wtf?)

I surprisingly enjoyed Silent Hill, though I don\'t feel like seeing it again...

Say what you will about the guy, but he does schmalz well. Yep can\'t beat a bit of schmaltz. The W.H Auden poem sequence in the funeral always chokes me up.

What about \"Saving Private Ryan\", or \"The Iron Giant\" ? Must admit He\'s not my favourite action \"hero\" but he doesn\'t take himself quite as seriously as some.

Someone I always thought as a bit of a \"nonce\" was Russell Crowe, until I recently saw his interview in \"Inside the Actors Studio\".
Not only does he have the silliest little \"girly\" giggle for a laugh, but he was very eloquent about being an actor.

Well, I wouldn\'t exactly say VD \"starred\" in Saving Private Ryan. Saw it, and thought it was a good movie, but don\'t even remember him in it. It\'s all Hanks.
And wasn\'t \"Iron Giant\" animated? It starred a drawing of a robot. I don\'t count voices only.
(but if you do: trivia - what movie starred Anna Panquin and Patrick Stewart and was not x-men)

That would be the slightly disappointing Steamboy wouldn\'t it which I\'ve watched twice (dubbed and subtitled). Akira is more up my street!

And Dragonsreach, I was just expecting you to rip it out of the remake (which I haven’t seen and actually is a potential movie I’ll never see after all my talk about being open minded! ) not the original Wicker Man. I fricking love it. It’s probably up in my top twenty of all time actually. My favorite horror movie by a country mile. Very mad, very British and very good.
