Mr Sicarius\'s new shoes

Hi. I\'d appreciate your opinion on the following:
I find that the new Sicarius mini is predictably out of proportion, (how strange for a GW space marine). In this case the problem is dwarfish legs. So I decided to rectify, but I think I may have gone too far the other way and I\'m inclined to go back and shorten them a little, so that they are somewhere in between where they were originally and where they are now.
What do you think?

Maybe bring it back down a bit. At the moment it looks like his kneepads are three quarters of the way up his legs.

Yeah, Height -wise it\'s OK, but something keeps bugging me, maybe it\'s the position of the knee pads that throws it out...

I agree with the kneepad bit. The length of the leg is okay but as only the lower leg was altered the knee has moved out of position.

maybe use some green stuff to bring the knee pads into part of the armour so that it looks like its extra armour? or maybe change them into cricket pads lol

Update after shortening.
I thought about attacking the knee pads but decided against it. I think it looks better know anyway, what do you think?

I think the mini looks better now, I think the banner draws your eyes away from his stubby legs.

Can\'t wait to see how you paint him up.
