I saw this chap, King Ploogak, and his servant, Phlunkey and just had to get them! He\'s been a total blast to paint - the base was the idea of my partner. I could do with some ideas for basing his servant along the pond theme. Hope you like him!

wow! its amazing, i love the base, lilly pad is a great idea! love the blending on the green and the NMM is stellar and i love the orb on the staff thingy (forgot the word)

really funny mini and flawless painting! you did a great job and the mini itself is so full of personality it seems alive!

(even if i\'m not sure about toad kings in real world lol )

That really is an ace mini and the painting is just fantastic. Great job spacemunkie.
As for his servant I don\'t know what he looks like or the pose of the mini but I would think that he would be lower in stature so maybe if he were standing in the pond water as opposed to on a lily leaf. Maybe up to his ankles in the water or maybe even his knees.

What would really make it for me, however, would be to do something with the edge of the base...static grass???

*EDIT* Nah, that probably wouldn\'t work, but I do feel it meeds something...

Great base! The stone in the sceptre is perfect and the gold looks nice as well. When will you post the other one?

(btw, I wanted these minis too and sent them an email to ask if they might lower the shipping costs for me. Let\'s hope there\'s a chance for me to get my hands on these cute guys!)

I hear you about the base Steve. I might try a deep green or brown. As for getting the mini I emailed \'em - they were waiting to ship them at the same time as the box set Ploogey is in, and it seemed to hurry them up!
@ Gypsy: The shipping is pretty expensive! The two minis ended up costing me £18! (worth every penny!)
