Interesting, Im guessing your doing a biel tan thing here.

I would say as a possible hint to work in stages with your green stuff, letting bits of flowers set before workingin the next petal, a couple of them look a little, umm, flattened.

But great idea none the less.

I like the idea, and the realisation is good. It might be a bit too much for my taste. Personal opinion though so if you like it keep going and get painting

I think, as long as it doesn\'t take away fromt he overall model, I kinda like it.

Now for a little help needed. I almost have the white of this here Wraithlord the way I need it, I just have this little problem.
IT LOOKS A LITTLE PLAIN!!! AARRRGGGHHH...
So I need a couple of ideas for the sword, color wise, and maybe something to breath a little life in it. Many Thanks!

I like the Wraithlordbut I think the vines should be thinner. I love the flowers tho\' The necro stuff I\'m not so crazy about but the assassin convo is good

Go for it! I\'d love to see someone else pull it off a 100 times better.

So What! No ideas on the Lord folks? Maybe some gold (someplace), add some painted on vines to fill in some of the space between the greenstuffed ones, light blue powersword effect on the sword HELP PLEASE!!!

Ok, my nickels worth -

On the wraithlord -

Do the joints in a complementary color to the roses - one or two shades lighter or darker should work.

I\'d wash the whole white area in a dark blue (cadmium or prussian would be my first choices) to make the white look a bit more cold and sterile - contrasting the red of the roses and the joints even more.

As for the sword, I\'d go metallic then wash with the rose color, followed by bringing the edges back to the base metallic color -

Mainly because everyone does the powersword effect on weapons.

And finally I\'d do the jewels in green metallic. Why? Because I could.lol

I was thinking a dark blue for the jewels, was afraid of making it look to Christmasy. But I\'ll give it a shot (after all it is only paint ). As for the rest, Many, many thanks I\'ll give it a shot.

BTW Hows the RPG on the heavy look to you Steelcult? Pretty close? (sitting here thinking that you may have a better idea on the look of said weapon)

Keep the paint thin on the wraithlord, I\'m looking forward to seeing that progress. Nice assassin too.

It\'s thin, really thin, say 15 layers thin and STILL doesn\'t cover properly

update on the Wraithlord. Did as Steelcult suggested rose on the joints (looks good), rose sword to gunmetal edge (not to bad, may have to work on this a bit) light blue glaze (My gods did I screw this up! Some days it just doesn\'t pay to get out the brush..)

Oh well what are you going to do....

and a test mini of a squad of Howling Banshees (boy does photos really show how bad of a paint job that you did. And here I thought that I got everything really, really nice :evil::evil:

No kidding the eldar warlock I put up I took the pic and while editing it noticed things that bugged me ended up reworking the mini and retaking the pic 5 times before I was satisfied with it enough to post, amazes me how good a piece can seem when you look at and how much a picture brings out that needs work.

Whats happing with the first assasins shoulder, is that a tentacle I\'m having a hard time figuring that one out from the pic. The second two assasins are lookin damn good and solid I like the one springing over the wall some good action there.

I love the concept of rose vines wrapped around your wraithlord shame that glaze didn\'t work out but I can imagine it being a pain to try and get an even soft tint on such large smooth areas specially over white, wish I had some tip or trick to tell

Keep up all the conversion work your going to have a one of a kind army when your done look forward to seeing more
