Is that staying too close to the vehicle in front of you? You don\'t get fined for that?
Over here the penalty goes fom € 145,- to € 400,- depending on situation. There is also an traffic awareness campaign going on about that subject.
Edit: I just found this top 10 on irritations in traffic behaviour in the Netherlands:
1. insufficient distance (we call that bumpersticking): 145 euro to 400 euro (+court)
2. driving on left lane without good reason (like overtaking): 95 euro
3. cutting another\'s path: 95 euro
4. incorrect lighting: 65 euro
5. incorrect overtaking: 95 euro
6. speeding: 30 euro to start and the rest is decided in court. More than 50 km/h too fast: loss of driving license.
6. trucks overtaking (in areas and in periods where/when this is not allowed I presume): 95 euro
8. incorrect entering/leaving motorway: 95 euro
9. incorrect behaviour through use of phone, mapreading, etc: 140 euro
10. incorrect behviour in the form of alcohol or drug use: starts at 220 Euro
