Nice work. I love seeing new bases. I like the rocks especially. I havn\'t read all the posts but the lighting effect look a bit to bright (maby more orange/red). Great idea!

Hi again all I thought it would be time to show you my progress so far. This is my first real attempt at doing gold senmm and nmm. This is a totally new way of painting for me which i think i like. @wrestlerguy21: thanks. And also thanks for your artical that you did which i have used bits of. Anyway. here it is so far. I still need to do quite a bit to it. I\'ll do better pics once I\'ve finnished it. I\'ve change the hot metal on the marine to a more realistic manner (i think) :).

Now we\'re talking...

This looks really great! The white-hot metal effect on the SM armour looks very convincing now. Good work!

I agree with pretty much all the comments here, the lava looks very realistic and HOT! and the senmm looks very realistic, are you going to add the lighting effect to the avatar too (like the loincloth and legs)

@ Brokenblade: Yes, on the lioncloth but not on the legs. I think that it would become too light and weaken the contrast of light and dark. Thanks for the comments btw :)

Now that\'s starting to look extremely cool there! Love the hot metal, and the Gold is spiffy too. I like the Helmet SENMM very much (pity I can\'t blend to save my life... or I\'d try something like that)

Looks very very good!

I think that you need to have a bit of \'lava-shine\' on some of the other surfaces such as the loincloth etc.

Fab stuff though :D

You can usually make bubbles from bead and water effects. The beads can be bought at arta and craft stores.
