Heyas! Once again, thanks for all your support and kind words - it really helped speed me along on this! The picture above is of the almost-finished version - I was still gluing static grass onto it about half an hour before I had to leave the house! If I get a chance, I'll try and photograph the finished article and stick it in my gallery for the lolz. Fortunately, it travelled safely to blighty, despite the best efforts of Flybe,* and my bf really liked it! (So did the rest of his family, but his opinion is the most important one!) And he correctly identified the dino too (it's technically not a T. Rex but a Carnosaurus.... I think....).
*Now that's a tale and a half, I can tell you. :curse!: Bad enough that I flew back with Lufthansa instead.
Yeah, I might make his lower legs a bit darker, and they should be mostly hidden by odds 'n' sods by the time I'm done, anyway. Next up, probably finishing the base....
