My confilict north entry

Hey all this is my entry for conflict north i won young bloods 2 years ago but i can\'t enter into it now cos i\'ll be 16 when its on
so here he is mr khorne cultist

and just so the jugdes will see him here\'s the displey base i made

personaly i like his right shoulder pad
but i would like to hear what you think about him

I like him.I know its a bit late now but somehow that axe dosent seem right maybe in a differant position.At the mment he looks like his about to hit someone with it but the rest of the model is standing still.Maybe have his body in a more \'action\' pose of change the angle of the wepon.

Having judged at Conflict manchester a couple of times I\'ll pick out the \"Faults\" that will hold you back.

The mini\'s chest where you\'ve either removed or added something (His Left under the strap.) is untidy and needs to be smoothed out to blend in with the rest of the figure.
The skin is very dark and has no clear highlight to differetiate it from the armour.
The Armour itself needs an additional highlight or two to give it a better eyecatching appeal.
The bottom of the Bolter\'s magazine has a molding line which will be picked up on.

Having said those negatives, your paintwork is neat and tidy, with some additional work as I have pointed out you could catch the judges eye.
You have until 27th May to make him spectacular. People on here will make suggestions so listen and good luck.

good luck mate as i think you will be in the same category as dragons reach.

i\'m trying to push differen\'t modeling skills this year so i won\'t be doing single.

thanks for the help guys especially Dragonsreach i didn\'t even notice that mould line thanks. Yeh in real life the colours do clash a little better. Yeh i will probably enter this figure unless i paint something better.
Dragonsreach do you know how many catagorys there are going to be?

DUDE! you gotta paint somthing better noe because dragons reach\'s advice will have gone to waste otherwise. you have till may to correct and /or improve on the the things pointed out to you. I also have been a conflict north judge and your with some big fish. so luck will have very little to do with your performance on the day.
