Hello CMON I've browsed though this site in the past but never got around to putting anything of my own up so I figured I'd just make a thread to keep a log of some of the models I'm painting at the moment.

here is a base I made for Wazabi from the Rackham confrontation line.

and here is the start of Wazabi herself.

I'm also working on a frog assassin (darksword miniatures), a mouseling (reaper) and a drunk pirate (reaper).
Thanks for reading.

Nice base, and interesting mini. I particularly like the colours on the wall of the base. One question, though - why does the scroll on the wall say "desu"?

Thanks everyone,
Goblinho I mainly use p3 and gw paints if you want specific recipes I can probably help out too.
me_in_japan the reason it says desu is I was feeling unimaginative at the time and the only word I could remember properly was desu.

I'll get some photos of more of my work up soon.

I look forward to it :) And heck, if you're going to remember a single word in a foreign language, the verb "be" is probably a good un :)

ですですです。 Learning J is awesome, especially when you delve into kanji (well not 1kyuu kanji but joyo-ish level). Such an easy language to speak since it's rules are so loose.. Especially in Osaka though it took me a year or so to pick up the dialect ^^; Hi to me_in_Japan btw from another Japanese based member! :D

I might look for something to write on her book cover in Japanese too.
Oh and a quick question about the gallery, when I upload something it has: status waiting after I upload them and I'm kinda confused about what it means can someone help? (also they don't seem to show up in any searches or whatnot)

I think they must be approved, the status will change to reflect that, and they will show up in search :)

nice stuff :) So, young blood silver daemon winner, eh? Danged impressive. And here was me thinking you were an experienced, veteran painter :( Puts my work in perspective, I'll tell you that much. When I was your age, I was lucky if I could get the paint in the right places. Of course when I was your age, you hadnt been born...

incidentally @arma - heyhey! Big shout out to the Osaka posse! How's things in the big city? Can't say I agree with you about the kanji, mind you. Devilishly tricksy wee buggers, in my opinion :( Never was much good at languages, me. :(
