My Ebay nightmare

I\'ve experienced similar trouble. If you sense something unususal you have to get aggressive right away, that\'s how I do it. Because if they see they can toy with you they will continue. Instead you have to act fast next time. Give them one more warning email, saying if they don\'t send the stuff you\'ll give them negative feedback and tell eBay about them and if necessary spread bad word about him in the internet. Usually they send you the stuff soon after.

Well, it\'s gotten worse for me...

the 2 video games I ordered BEFORE Xmas with priority shipping that never arrived...STILL haven\'t arrived.

E-mailed the seller yesterday and his response was \"1 package not arriving is unlikely, 2 is impossible.\":flame:

I mean, I haven\'t had a negative feedback in well over a year, and it\'s for 2 children\'s video games, not to mention I paid an exhorbitant amount for postage, and he can\'t pay the extra $.40 cents for tracking?

The real stickler is that even though I paid over a month ago, he never left feedback. When I looked at his transactions, he has 30 negatives in the last month! Mind you, he has around 1600 positives in the same timeframe, so his overall rating won\'t be hurt by my putting 2 more on there.

All of his negatives were responded to with negatives of his own. It looks like he waits for feeback before responding with his own. So if I apply negative feedback, he\'ll most likely retaliate with his own. My poor little 203 rating will be hurt much more by 2 negatives than his will.

AUGH! I\'m getting really frustrated. I\'ve given him the benefit of the doubt, as I\'m much too nice to be mean, but so far his \"2nd\" mailing hasn\'t arrived either, 2 weeks later...

I have NEVER had to ask for a refund via Paypal, and would not like to do it this time, but may have no choice. Luckily they upgraded the timeframe to 45 days, but I don\'t know if that\'ll include items BEFORE the policy went into effect.

And I\'ve seen the fact that he\'s left negative feedback for the few people that have done that to him.

Grrr.... Any suggestions?

well i use priority mail and that means gauranteed within 3 days in the US. and i only buy from US sellers. so i give it 10 days form the time i send my payment. 6 days for payment to get their (no mail on sundays) and 1 days to pack and ship, then 3 max to get to me.

and if a seller wont ship priority or claims they wont mail it i call their bluff, cause i also only buy when people will fill out the delivery conformation, and i send the thing for them to put on the package.

it cost an extra $3 USD but for $140 as you said (i think that is what 60 pounds is). i would pay yhe extra for faster shipping and conformations if available.

great feeling...

I remember once not recieving an item, and going through the channels provided to contact the person. They gave me a phone number.

It is amazing how quickly they want to help when they are no longer the \'anonymous\' seller....lol

Yeah, I\'ve only been stiffed once, really. By someone on this site. Actually, I can\'t say for sure. I did check eBay for awhile afterwards to make sure they didn\'t re-post the auction. Didn\'t see it, so maybe it did get lost in the mail.

Really disappointed I didn\'t get it. It was a nice piece.
