He\'s also been beaten by fighters much smaller than him.
\"Minotauro\" Nogeira tapped him out after he got tired and \"Crocop\" destroyed him via knock out.
He\'s a sideshow act that should stick to acting. He\'s not a good fighter, he\'s not even a decent fighter. He\'s never beaten anyone his size who had any ability.
Although he was entertaining in Elektra.

Well I\'ve never been a big K-1 fan. I\'m more into Pride and UFC.
If I have to choose I\'m going with Ernesto Hoost. He fought passed his prime and he got smoked by your man Sapp, but he was always entertaining.

It\'s the original sport! Before balls, sticks, nets and holes there was wrestling or fighting of some kind. Barbaric? Yes. Fun? Hell yeah.
In all seriousness, I would suggest a Brazillian Jiu Jitsu or kick boxing class to anyone. You won\'t find greater exercise or comraderie in any locker room of any other sport anywhere.

@ Penguin: Well don\'t watch it. Thats ok. I don\'t see the point in people acting like it wrong to be able to watch stuff like this. As Artisan said, this is the original sport. And the modern versions of these sports are nearly as brutal as the original.
@ Artisan: Pride is pretty cool. And it is true what you said about Bob Sapps. But that goes for any fighter. If someone has a better technique, he will beat you. Bob Sapp\'s technique is pretty straight forward. Charge across the ring and batter your opponent with blows until he falls. This is pretty cool in my opinion. Then you have guys like Michael McDonald who use kick boxing (which has more finesse) can be just as entertaining to watch.

You probably will not see this since it is a topic you are not into and I don\'t see you flaming someone. But if the guy who was actually in the fight walked away, you should be fine from just watching it. I posted this because I am more famous for my avatar than anything else here. And people always ask who is that guy.

Ebon, you should look for a fight that Sapp had against Yoshihiro Takayama. It will surprise the hell out of you. It did me. Sapp actually won the fight via submission. He won with a cross armbar, not an easy move to apply at all. Believe me I\'ve tried and only been successful twice in 2 years of sparring. So on second thought he isn\'t entirely without ability.

MMA obviously isn\'t for everyone. But there are many matches that take place without a significant blow being thrown and landed. The fight will then appear like simple wrestling but it\'s not. Not even close. It\'s like physical a chess game. Move and counter move. Thinking 2 or 3 moves ahead of your opponenet to achieve a submission or win by points. No one is hurt at all, just tired.

Nope. It is the avatar. Atleast that is what everyone PM me about. I did start the CMON drinking game. Fair enough. The BS about me being the only one who said Drink has been pegged on me by someone who at the time who had just came to the site. And that seems to be what everyone is focusing on.

@IPM: It’s ok if you don’t like it. No problem. It is just annoying when people get all self-righteous or start dragging “the children” or “the family” in to cover their own inadequacies. I’m not saying you, but people in general.
