The skull is very good, as are the metals.
The blue, particularly on the feet could use more glazing, and I’m not sure what the yellow paint splatters on the rock are supposed to represent.

It is OK. The bone and cloth seem to be vastly improved from what I saw in your wip thread, the freehand is alright and the hazard stripes are nicely old skool.

Unfortunately there are things that let it down though.

The lighting effect on the base just doesn\'t work. As Vincegamer has proved with his confusion, it just looks like splatters of paint. I’m pretty sure you could find a good tutorial for how to better achieve this effect so I won\'t go into it.

Your neatness needs to be improved a bit too. I can see various areas where colours are where they shouldn\'t be and there are visible chips in the paint too I think (the feet).

The biggest problem though is that he looks like his arms are falling off. The gap and metal on show is really bad to my eyes, and detracts completely from everything else. Because you have moved the arms from their standard position it has popped them out too far. You need to remove the pins and file them down so that they are flush with the body. You may have to fill some small gaps with Green Stuff to.

Oh, and your voting link is wrong. It just links to your photobucket image so we can’t vote.

OKey dokey.

What I see is what I tend to see quite a bit in painting. painters tend to focus on the parts they like the best and ignore the rest. I am guilty of this as well so don\'t think I am singling you out.

The skull seems pretty good, but a lot of the rest could use more attention to detail.

All that detail on the scroll is nice, but what stands out is the uneven lines on the bolter. The highlighting on the terminator cross belt buckle thingy is cool, but the higlighting everywhere else is not consistent.

Things like that are what bring this down in overall appearence. If you clean those up it will look a world better and it really is not all that difficult to tidey up. Most of it is relatively minor stuff.

Ah, if it\'s OSL, then remember that the yellow part is the hottest part. That means the lava or bubbles may be yellow, but the relatively cool rock above, lit by the lava, will not. The lit area must always be darker than the source of light itself. This also means the rock nearest the lava base will be the brightest, with the glow fading as you move up. Right now the opposite is happening.

Well it\'s a start. It doesn\'t look to bad and you definatley have a sence of where to put the colors and such. I look forward to seeing you improve.

Not sure why this has scored so low. It fulfills all the criteria for a 6 and some of a 7. Anyway did the vote thing. The only thing I would watch is if you do strippy lines make sure they are even and parallel.
