Ive been painting off and on for about 5 years, starting with 40k\\warmachine and moving on to just general figure painting.
These days I don\'t really have any freinds that paint or wargame, and most of my freinds would probably think Im more than a little odd If they knew. So I figured this site would be a good place to talk about painting, and get feedback on my work so I can continue to improve.
On that note heres something I finished today, a 54mm plastic German Grenadier from Conte. I wanted to practice human faces and camo schemes, something I havent worked with much, so a German grenadier in a splinter camo smock was a good piece to mess with.
I like the finished product enough that I might just paint him up a couple squadmates and a base and work on a diorama.
Hmm... Those white specs on his pants are bits of modeling snow that just need to be brushed off, didnt notice em till I saw it all enlarged in the pictures.
Oh my photo set up is crude at best, so I need to work on that too.
