Well, here is my first ever mini, a little nervous about posting it, but its done now... so too late to back out now.
Been painting on and off for just over 3 months now, but prior to that, i`ve done an awful lot of reading on techniques and such.
Not a very good pic, realised after i posted it that i couldn`t change the pic.
I`ve been pracising on a couple of mini`s, but this is the first one i completed. I started with the Eciplipsante (sp?) of rackham, but struggled with the skin tones.
i finally decided on the Inquisitor, after reading the `walkthrough` of the painting tutorial in one of the `Cry Havoc` magazines, though i found it hard to follow due to the english transalation, it kinda gets lost on me.
Taken a long while to complete, but the RL mini looks pretty nice, even if i do say so myself
Painted with Valejo paints, the base is made o miliput and real roof-slate (roof tiles), which although makes it heavy, it makes it very sturdy.
The mini is finished in valejo matt varnish.
Constuctive comments - positive and negative are most welcome, as i want to learn.
about me.. 43 years old, work as a Welder - i build big trucks, love music, driving and miniatures.
here is my mini.. >takes a deep breath<

thanks for reading and looking.
