My first mini

Firstly i would say congrats on your first model, and for a first its pretty decent enough. the colours seem solid and contrast well, and the dirt is a nice touch.

BUT, you should post more angles of the mini, the picture was only of one angle-the front, should do front and back at least, same with the close up if ur doing close ups show it from different angles to show of various parts of the mini.

also some of the white/cream highlights look a little extreme ie no transition between highlights a and the metallics seem quite flat also

thanks, im sorry about the pics, i couldnt edit them so more would fit on the pic. thanks for the comment, i know many people say it, but the photos dont look as good as the model itself. thanks!

i changed your white levels a bit and warmed the colors....let me know if this helps at all with your picture....i felt it was a bit too dark and a tad blurry.

yeah thanks! im very sorry about the pics! i did it quite late after i had finished it , so not many attempts, and i used a beige backdrop, and a stupid little lamp

Well well well, very nice painting. Glad I reread the top post, as this look to good to be anybodys first mini.
Nice colors and very good weathering.

Nevermind the PM I sent you this morning. You\'ve got it figured out. This is a great first post. Needs a bit of tweak, and a bit of nudge, but not bad at all.

It is totally fair to adjust color balance/brightness/contrast to make the mini look right. Use a decent backdrop to help show it off. Most use a blue white fade, a few use black. Do a quick search on light tent (light box or light cube). Along with understanding lighting, that will help your photo work.

Mostly, it is like painting, the more you do, the better you tend to get.
