All else aside (because I'm not awake enough to provide good technical critique), Joker Elf? Hahahahahahaha...

Looks like great brush control for a new painter. I'm thinking you could use some colour theory, the green next to the purple is pretty nasty and all, but you've got some good technique to start building.

As MPJ says, re-think you colours.

i would also add thing your paints a tad more and build up the colour slower. also push the contrast a bit more

More contrast, more conservative color choices.
