You could also help tidy up a bit with some thin glazes of your middle highlight colour.
Really thin the colour down with clean water and add a little drop of washing up liquid (dish soap) and apply carefully in thin layers.
Good luck and don\'t worry about the scores that\'s a worrying road to take.You\'ve taken the first step and doing exactly what your doing now will see improvements in your work.

The purple that you have around the knives in the cloak looks like you touched up with a darker color, that color should be taken all the way up that fold in the cloak for added depth of color.

The transitions from red to yellow are rather abrupt on the coat.

Thin your paints and work on making smoother transitions in your layering. Think glazes instead of paints.

Keep at it, it will get better.

Actually, i have no idea how i got that dark colour around the knifes.. maybe black with LOADS of water..hmm...
Gotta experiment!

Oh, and i se the purple really IS not very good! Actually the reason i lost! lol

But the picture doesnt seem to do the red justice, or i am just a hypocrite.. but eh, whatever.. ill \'glaze\' lol
