My first Reaper

Ok, here\'s my first reaper mini, and it\'s actually the one I got for participating in the comp. held by Becca and family earlier this year

I painted him quite some time ago for the reaper mini exchange, and now I can finally post him, since he\'s arrived to his new owner.
At the time I painted him he was the best I had done so far, but I feel that today I could have done it even better.

So, here he is:

Love the base. The water effect is nice. Is that a 2\" square base (50mm)

Is it just me or is anyone else reminded of Peter? When he wore that red hat he looked just like this miniature. He isn\'t possibly the new owner? And another question, could you paint a mini that looks like me? I want to wield a nice big axe maybe and look frightening!

btw... I like what you did with the base and the pose of the mini from that angle is great.

I quite like the base myself, it\'s really simple to do but looks pretty dramatic.
(just use your clippers when creating the waves)

By the way Astonia, Nice mini. Good choice of colours for a fantasy setting.
