My first Vostroyan Imperial Guardsman ;)

My first Vostroyan - I was trying to get the GW look , but my matt varnished did something to the shiny metallics ;)

Minis are wonderful - the best ever from GW ;)

But painting is not so easy.

Please vote and comment - I\'m painting a year now and I ant to improve my painting ;)

ugly !:eek: ?! whoa IMO these are one of the the best models released by GW recently. so characterful and they suit WH40K so well.
as for the paintjob - good quality. work on getting smooth and even layers of metallic paint (personally got problems with this too). also left visor looks not as good as the right one. keep them coming hash :)

I guess the thing with these models is that you either think they are fantastic or you hate their bleeding guts!

I personally love them!:)

They are extremely ugly. But, you make them look pretty good. If I ever was to play IG, I would play the Death Korps. Of Krieg. 656TH BABY!

Saw and voted on this. The paint job is well done. The reds look good.

I have to agree that these mini\'s are ugly and add that they lack any character. Probably the worst IG\'s out there. But thats my 2 cents. :D

without doubt I`m surprised by the feedback, even to the poit of posting twice :D . well, IMO they rock - the details are nice and crisp, they look archaic and modern at the same time (ideal for WH40K), a bit like some kind of WWI (or even earlier) soldiers thrown to space. definitely not the worst of the IG - just take a look at cadians and they way they`re sculpted :D . well, but it looks that in the end all comes to individual tastes :rolleyes:

I got to say i like these very much too.. :D It\'s not about that they are nice in a usual sort of way, but just how well they fit into my mind as an imperial soldier. I think they have tons of character! :) It\'s the same with the new John Blanche models that Jacob Nielsen painted. ugly things can look good too.. ;)

I like the new models and your paintjob is great! Do they come in metal or plastic? The veterans and stuff would come in metal but what about the basic troops?

The entire army is metal figures. Its only going to be for sale for a limited time friom what Im hearing. I bought the platoon boxset last week and can\'t wait for the other releases. I have to agree these guys are either \"Love Them\" or \"Hate Them\" there is no in between. I love them. Ive always been a fan of John BLanche art work and when I saw them for the first time I knew I had to have them :)

There are no official Krieg miniatures available. Some people have used Steel Legion as kreig but they arent true Kreig in appearance. Forgeworld is working of a Kreig army for release in 07. Start saving :p

Nice paint job mate :) But I gotta say that the models are pretty poor, look like space age cossacks or someting, wooden guns too, come on its meant to be th 41st millenium. Just a slightly funkier version of those awful valhalan things.
