My GD Entry

I thought I might as well post up my entry to GD09. Didn\'t get anywhere with it, though to be honest I\'m not that surprised. Overall the paint job was very rushed and as such didn\'t come close to the standard I was hoping or able to achieve. On the positive, I entered a model and learned buckets during the construction!

Great conversion and idea
As Freak pointed out some shadows and highlights and it would have made it a long way

Yep, it\'s just a bit flat...

There is some very good tonal qualities to all of it, it just needs a bit of \'pop\' to make it stand out.

There are good things but maybe you should have paint freehand or done blendings.

Cheers for the comments - agreed that there is so much more that I could have done with this piece had I of had the time. My actual hope was to have got some subtle weathering added, more depth in the bronzes, the red actually painted with more than two colours and to have spent far more time on the base and cloak - which were painted in less than 5 hours the night before games day

Though I\'m currently putting together my nice new spangly space wolves, I\'m trying to think of a nice idea for a entry for next year.
