i rather like the convert & idea although a snow base definitely would clash too badly with the overall theme of the model so i would go with a jungle theme. as for the banner? i would go with a cult mark rather than undivided, or a beastmen influenced banner design.
If its a GD entry then its got to go with fluff I should imagine (I\'m not 100% sure but I would imagine) and from what I\'ve seen about Dragon Ogres they dont go in for any of the powers due to them being so old etc etc that they feel themselfs too powerfull to go in with any. I may be wrong I more than proberly am but I\'m sure I\'ve seen it somewhere. Hope that helps and does\'nt confuse you
in the army book it states that they feel that they feel farm more superior to any other creature/demon/being and thus insist that they lead the army. they are also old and verable creatures so your right there Yetie
OK here is the latest wip. As some of you will know I had a small disaster when I used a bright green instead os a yellow in some washes - I\'m colour blind - but here is the result so far...
I think you have done a pretty good job so far, the tiger skin looks really real. The stipes look a little to regular on the right side of the tail though. Don\'t know if you are done with the skin on the ogre part, or what you are aiming for but I think it could do with another one or two layers of highlight
OK I think I\'m nearly there. The dO is just about finished, the snotling needs to have his banner & a few minor bits done then I nned to add long grasses & broad leafed plants to the base & attach the DO.

It\'s looking good. Don\'t mind what people say about the fluff. Does it say anywhere in WH that no dragons have had stripes?
Generally I have to agree with dan about the hammer but the rest is looking sweet. For the hammer, maybe just the point of impact on both sides would be smooth?
