My Gen Con Speed Painted Mini

Patined in the Speed Painting Contest at Gen Con 2006. My first attempt at this competition. A few colors of reaper paint, an interesting mini and 45 minutes to paint it. Strangely enough it was fun.

Without disparaging your paint job, I would like to say that is a truly mediocre sculpt. His staff appears to require Viagra (TM) and the head and arms appear to have been sculpted from Play-Doh (TM). The robes and snake tail bit are not bad but the overall effect is \"hastily constructed LARP prop\"...

AND THE ANSWER IS!

You\'d think that they would use a Reaper mini for a Reaper Speed Painting Contest for Gen Con right? Well no, it didn\'t look Reaperish to me ... but it was. Got a ton of answers from the Reaper site.

He\'s from the Warlord Line, a Reptus # 14188 SSudai

So I\'ve updated the mini. (So it\'s on waiting status once again.)

If I had to do it over again, I would have made the staff brown, and not thinned the purple as much.
