My Gimli!

This is my version of Gimli.. I know the colours don\'t match a hundred percent with the movie, but what the hell. This is MY Gimli :)

I just learnt how to thin colours properly, and I think it helped a lot. I spent a lot of time on this figure, and tried to really make it look as good as I can. Feel free to give me some hints if you got any.. thanks!

Corvus is right, redo the eyes and it would pull up the score, the red leather clothes look great though.

Very nice Gimli!

I\'d have to agree about the eyes, which do tend to distract from the mini.

But, I really like the reds you have done for the clothing. Very dark and rich colors.

Maybe check out the \"articles\" for tips on painting eyes.

I personally think eyes are one of the (well two of the) hardest things to paint, but also can be the most important part of the mini.

dont want to go on about things but i agree with the eye comments - to starey. i like the rocky base. befits a dwarf more than the grassy ones. although i notice some grey streaks down the side tut tut! on the whole pretty good
