Hello all, here are two of my GD pieces, my GDUK '10 duel, which was awarded a finalist pin, but no daemon, and my GDUK '09 Quartermaster which was awarded a golden daemon in Youngbloods.
Both entries were great projects and I hope you all like them

These are both pretty good. I really like the duel, really impressive sculpting work there. Your Quartermaster is also cool and very well painted.

Ari, You shouldn't be too disapointed at being a finalist as the pictures of the duelists were up on the big screens shortly after the Golden Deamon opened, well before 10:00 am.

Your pictures are rather dark, but one thing that did standout especially on the big screen pictures is that the base edges looked 'rough' and caught several people's eye to the point of comment. If it'd been down to having to "knock points off" to make decisions then that might have counted against you.

Juicy contrast, something I've gotta work on, I lost too much darkness over the years. The turquoise in the highlights on the duel backpack, and commisars armour made me smile, I favour that colour injected into the black to white too.

great work man, damn how frigin long are you gonna be a youngblood? new stuff looks amazing. congrats on the demon, and the beautiful duel.
